The majority of the 2005 Summit on Urban Education in Ohio focused on individual workshop sessions, featuring the practices that are proving especially effective in each of the Ohio 8 districts. To access each presentation, click on the title of the workshop you want to learn more about.
The 24 workshops, led by administration/union teams, addressed specific evidence-based educational strategies in areas such as teacher quality, serving student populations, civic and community engagement, curriculum and instructional innovations, data-based decision making, high school transformation, and standards-driven systems.
